The Chair I Didn’t Sit In
There’s a chair in my living room I almost never sit in.
It’s comfortable. Good light. Great for thinking.
But I rarely use it. Because when I do, I slow down.
Not in a bad way.
In a reflective way.
When I’m in that chair, I ask better questions.
What’s really driving this urgency?
Is this the work, or just the noise?
Am I choosing this — or reacting to it?
We all need a chair like that.
A place that shifts the pace.
Because speed isn’t the only way to be productive.
Sometimes clarity comes from stillness.
